Geological Chronicle

Yakovkin is a lunar impact crater that lies very near the southwest limb of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 35.92 kilometers.

It is located to the northwest of the crater Pingré, and was designated Pingré H before it was named by the IAU. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-124.
