Geological Chronicle

Watson is a lunar impact crater that is located in the low southern latitudes on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 59.43 kilometers.

It lies to the southwest of the larger crater Lippmann and southeast of Fizeau. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-134.
