Waterman is a lunar impact crater that is located on the Moon's far side, and cannot be viewed directly from the Earth. The formation spans an official diameter of 74.91 kilometers.

It lies along the southern outer ramparts of the prominent crater Tsiolkovskiy. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-101.
