Geological Chronicle

Volkov is a lunar impact crater on the Moon's far side. The formation spans an official diameter of 40.84 kilometers.

It is located to the north of the prominent crater Tsiolkovskiy, and east-southeast of Dobrovol'skiy. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-84.
