Geological Chronicle

Van Maanen is a heavily degraded lunar impact crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 46.42 kilometers.

It lies to the east of the crater Kidinnu, and southeast of Tesla and H. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-30.
