Geological Chronicle
Van Gent is a lunar impact crater on the far side of the Moon that is located to the south-southeast of the larger crater Konstantinov. The formation spans an official diameter of 44.37 kilometers.
About an equal distance to the east-southeast is Spencer Jones and to the southeast is Papaleksi. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-67.
