Geological Chronicle

Vallis Baade is a 206.79-kilometer sinuous valley on the Moon, running south-southeast from the crater Baade south of the Montes Cordillera. It shares its namesake with the crater, the German astronomer Walter Baade.

The feature is one of several valleys radiating away from the southeast edge of Mare Orientale, alongside Vallis Inghirami and Vallis Bouvard.
