Geological Chronicle

Tharp is a small impact crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 13.45 kilometers.

This formation dates to the Copernican period and has a meteoritic iron-rich impact melt. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-102.
