Lunar Impact Crater
Thales is a lunar impact crater spanning 30.75 kilometers across the Moon.
Thales is a small crater located in the northeast part of the Moon, just to the west of the larger crater Strabo. The formation spans an official diameter of 30.75 kilometers.
To the southeast is a walled plain called De La Rue. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-14.
The International Astronomical Union officially approves the crater name.
