Geological Chronicle

Svedberg is a lunar impact crater located on the lunar near side near the southern pole. The formation spans an official diameter of 15.34 kilometers.

The crater is located Northeast of Scott crater, adjacent to von Baeyer crater, and South of the prominent crater Demonax. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-144.
