Geological Chronicle
Sinus Viscositatis, translated as the Bay of Stickiness, is a plain 68 kilometers in diameter on the Moon. Highlands to the north border the plain, which opens to the southwest into Oceanus Procellarum.
The northern highlands contain two silicic Gruithuisen Domes, steep-sided volcanic mountains, and the site holds a series of these domes. The feature was named in 2022.
