Geological Chronicle

Sierpinski is a lunar impact crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 66.94 kilometers.

It lies to the southeast of the huge walled plain called Gagarin, and to the northwest of the crater O'Day and the Mare Ingenii. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-103.
