Geological Chronicle

Seeliger is a relatively small lunar impact crater that lies near the southeastern edge of Sinus Medii. The formation spans an official diameter of 8.28 kilometers.

It was named after the German astronomer Hugo von Seeliger. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-77.
