Geological Chronicle
Schumacher is a lunar impact crater that lies in the northeast part of the Moon, just to the north of the larger walled plain Messala. The formation spans an official diameter of 61.31 kilometers.
It was named by the IAU in 1935. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-28.
