Geological Chronicle

Schliemann is a lunar impact crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 77.4 kilometers.

It is located just to the northwest of the somewhat larger crater Ventris, and to the northeast of the prominent Chaplygin. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-85.
