Geological Chronicle

Runge is a lunar impact crater in the Mare Smythii, along the eastern edge of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 38.98 kilometers.

It lies less than one crater diameter to the north-northwest of the very similar crater Warner. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-81.
