Geological Chronicle
Rumford is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 60.83 kilometers.
It is located to the northwest of the large crater Oppenheimer, and to the east-southeast of Orlov. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-105.
