Geological Chronicle

Rosse is a bowl-shaped lunar impact crater located in the southern part of Mare Nectaris. The formation spans an official diameter of 11.43 kilometers.

It was named after Irish astronomer Lord Rosse. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-97.
