Geological Chronicle
Rittenhouse is a small lunar impact crater that is located in the southern part of the Moon's far side. The formation spans an official diameter of 27.5 kilometers.
It lies amidst the western outer ramparts of the immense walled plain called Schrödinger. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-140.
