Geological Chronicle
Rima Sung-Mei is a lunar graben structure spanning 3.88 kilometers in length across the lunar basalt crust. Formed by structural faulting and crustal extension, the trench cuts through terrain within the Mare Serenitatis quadrangle (LAC-42).
Officially cataloged by the International Astronomical Union at selenographic coordinates 24.5878° latitude and 11.2842° longitude, the rille designation notes: Chinese female name; part of Aratus CA.
