Geological Chronicle

Resnik is a small lunar impact crater that is located within the interior of a huge walled plain called Apollo, on the Moon's far side. The formation spans an official diameter of 22.16 kilometers.

Apollo is a double-ringed formation with a central floor that has been flooded with basaltic lava. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-121.
