Geological Chronicle

Rayet is a small lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon, past the northeast limb. The formation spans an official diameter of 27.76 kilometers.

It lies to the southwest of the larger crater Millikan, and east of the comparably sized Petrie. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-30.
