Pupin is a lunar impact crater spanning 2.17 kilometers across the Moon.
Pupin is a tiny lunar impact crater located in the eastern part of the Mare Imbrium. The formation spans an official diameter of 2.17 kilometers.
It was named after Serbian-American physicist Mihajlo Pupin. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-40.
The International Astronomical Union officially approves the crater name.
