Geological Chronicle

Pilâtre is a lunar impact crater near the southwestern limb of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 64.37 kilometers.

It is located just to the north-northwest of a much larger walled plain named Hausen. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-135.
