Piazzi Smyth is a small lunar impact crater in the eastern part of the Mare Imbrium. The formation spans an official diameter of 12.96 kilometers.

It was named after Scottish astronomer Charles Piazzi Smyth. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-25.
