Oberth is a lunar impact crater spanning 49.52 kilometers across the Moon.
Oberth is a crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 49.52 kilometers.
It lies in the high northern latitudes, to the southeast of the crater Gamow. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-17.
The International Astronomical Union officially approves the crater name.
