Nikolaev is a crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 42.67 kilometers.
It is located north of the Mare Moscoviense and south of the larger crater Von Neumann. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-31.
The International Astronomical Union officially approves the crater name.
