Nijland is a relatively small impact crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 35.46 kilometers.

This is a relatively isolated crater that is surrounded by an impacted surface with smaller craters. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-31.
