Niepce is a crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 59.69 kilometers.
It lies in the high northern latitudes, just behind the north-northwestern limb. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-9.
The International Astronomical Union officially approves the crater name.
