Nielsen is a lunar impact crater on the Oceanus Procellarum. The formation spans an official diameter of 9.64 kilometers.

It is located north-east of Montes Agricola on the western hemisphere of the Moon. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-38.
