Geological Chronicle

Nichollet is a small, isolated lunar impact crater on the Mare Nubium, a lunar mare in the southwest quadrant of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 14.73 kilometers.

It was named after French astronomer Joseph Nicollet. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-94.
