Mons Dieter is a lunar mountain situated within King crater on the far side of the Moon, centered at coordinates 4.9967°N 120.2977°E. The peak measures 20.41 kilometers in diameter and shares the crater interior with neighboring elevations, including Mons André, Mons Ardeshir, and Mons Dilip.

Because of its position on the lunar far side, Mons Dieter is never visible from Earth. In 1976, the International Astronomical Union adopted the feature's name, which originates from a German male name.
