Maury is a small lunar impact crater named for two cousins. The formation spans an official diameter of 16.58 kilometers.

It was first named in honor of Lieutenant Matthew Fontaine Maury of the U. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-27.
