Geological Chronicle

Mason is the remains of a lunar impact crater that lies in the northeastern part of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 33.33 kilometers.

It is nearly attached to the eastern rim of the flooded crater Plana, and southeast of Bürg. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-26.
