Lockyer is a lunar impact crater that is located along the western wall of the large walled plain Janssen. The formation spans an official diameter of 35.08 kilometers.

It was named after British astrophysicist Norman Lockyer. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-114.
