Geological Chronicle
Kunowsky is a small lunar impact crater on the Mare Insularum, in the western half of the Moon's near side. The formation spans an official diameter of 18.27 kilometers.
It is named after the German astronomer Georg Karl Friedrich Kunowsky. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-57.
