Geological Chronicle

Kovalʹskiy is a crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 44.97 kilometers.

It lies about one crater diameter to the southeast of the prominent Sklodowska, and to the north-northwest of Bowditch and Lacus Solitudinis, a small lunar mare. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-100.
