Geological Chronicle

Kirchhoff is a small lunar impact crater that is located in the northern part of the Montes Taurus range. The formation spans an official diameter of 24.38 kilometers.

It was named after German physicist Gustav Kirchhoff. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-43.
