Jansky is a lunar impact crater that lies along the eastern limb of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 73.77 kilometers.

It lies due east of a larger walled plain named Neper, along the southern edge of the Mare Marginis. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-63.
