Geological Chronicle
Isidorus is a lunar impact crater that is located to the north of the Mare Nectaris, on the eastern half of the Moon's near side. The formation spans an official diameter of 41.39 kilometers.
It was named after Spanish astronomer Saint Isidore of Seville. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-79.
