Geological Chronicle

Ibn-Rushd is a lunar impact crater located to the northwest of the larger crater Cyrillus. The formation spans an official diameter of 31.08 kilometers.

To the northwest is the crater Kant and to the north is Mons Penck, a mountain promontory. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-78.
