Geological Chronicle

Hippocrates is a lunar impact crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 59.24 kilometers.

It is located in the northern region of the lunar surface, to the north of the crater Stebbins. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-8.
