Heinsius is an eroded lunar impact crater that lies in the southwestern part of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 64.87 kilometers.

It is named after German astronomer Gottfried Heinsius. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-111.
