Geological Chronicle

Gould is the remnant of a lunar impact crater formation that lies in the midst of the Mare Nubium, in the southwest quadrant of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 32.99 kilometers.

It was named after American astronomer Benjamin A. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-94.
