Ginzel is a lunar impact crater that is located on the far side of the Moon, just beyond the eastern limb. The formation spans an official diameter of 53.23 kilometers.

It is named after the Austrian astronomer Friedrich Karl Ginzel. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-64.
