Geological Chronicle

Geiger is a lunar impact crater on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 36.63 kilometers.

It lies to the southwest of the much larger walled plain named Keeler, and slightly farther to the northeast of the huge walled plain Gagarin. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-85.
