Ganswindt is a lunar impact crater that lies near the southern pole of the Moon's far side. The formation spans an official diameter of 77.52 kilometers.

It is attached to the southwestern exterior of Schrödinger, a huge walled plain. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-140.
