Geological Chronicle

Franklin is a lunar impact crater that is located in the northeast part of the visible Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 55.92 kilometers.

To the north-northwest is the smaller crater Cepheus, and in the opposite direction to the southwest is the shallow Berzelius. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-27.
