Geological Chronicle
Fourier is a lunar impact crater that is located in the southwestern part of the Moon's near side, just to the southeast of the crater Vieta. The formation spans an official diameter of 51.57 kilometers.
To the northeast is the Mare Humorum. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-92.
