Geological Chronicle

Foucault is a small lunar impact crater that lies along the southern edge of Mare Frigoris, to the southeast of the crater Harpalus. The formation spans an official diameter of 25.08 kilometers.

In the rugged terrain to the south of Foucault is Sharp. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-11.
